What the certification locks in

Every component is built to a published standard.

ELSI's spare-parts catalogue is governed by API Specification 11AX — the international standard for subsurface sucker-rod pumps and fittings. The standard does three things that matter to the operator: it makes the parts interchangeable, it forces full traceability, and it sets the inspection regime every lot has to pass.

We hold an API 11AX licence at the Brazi facility. Everything in this catalogue conforms to the dimensional, material, and finish requirements of the spec, alongside our own ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 systems.

Interchangeable

API 11AX §6.4

Only dimensions affecting interchangeability are fixed by the spec — every ELSI part fits any compliant pump from any API 11AX-licensed manufacturer.

Traceable

API 11AX §8

Each part is permanently marked with manufacturer mark, part number, material identification symbol, and date of manufacture — failure analysis stays straightforward.

Inspected

API 11AX §7.3

Components are dimensionally inspected by sampling at AQL 4.0% (Inspection Level I). Material certificates of compliance ship with every lot.

The Master Part Numbering System assigns a letter to each component family. Knowing the family code lets you spec parts unambiguously across manufacturers and decades of installed equipment.

How to read a part number.

Every API 11AX component has a deterministic part code. Once you know the segments, ordering across manufacturers and back-catalogues becomes a single-line conversation.

Bushings, hold-down assemblies, and tubing-side hardware use the tubing-size code (15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 40). Pump-end components use the bore-size code.

Materials & finishes

The spec doesn't leave metallurgy to interpretation.

API 11AX Section 9 publishes named material tables for every component class. Every ELSI part ships with the corresponding material identification symbol stamped on the body and recorded on the material test report.

What ships with every part

Marked, identified, certified.

The marking requirements in API 11AX §8 are non-negotiable. Every component coming out of Brazi carries the full set, permanently affixed to the body — so the part you receive in the field can be traced back to its lot, its material, and its inspection record without ambiguity.

On pump assemblies (rather than individual components), marking additionally includes the pump designation per the API 11AX assembly schedule — barrel type, plunger length, fit, and the size/tubing codes you saw in the catalogue above.
